Keep the family active

I can’t stress how important it is for parents to help their families become fitter. Getting fit as a family will benefit everyone. Exercise, combined with a healthy balanced diet will help prevent health problems for the next generation.

On average both adults and children are simply not getting enough exercise and this is having an effect on our health.

Statistics prove that a child with two obese parents has a 70 per cent chance of becoming obese compared to less than 20 per cent among children with lean parents. These figures really emphasize how important it is for parents to take the lead and set a good example for their children.

Always stay active, and keep your children active with sports with their friends or organized!
